Kate Spade Spring/Summer 2016 Presentation

The carefree fresh world of garden wonderland ruled the fashion industry at the Kate Spade Spring/Summer 2016 presentation on Friday (9/11) during New York Fashion Week. The collection had all the colors of the rainbow in it that let us know 60's are back in for Spring. Fresh cut flowers greeted people at the unique show which resembled a real-life-shop window.

The living mannequins wore ultra-feminine frocks nipped at the waist and accessorized with a full color display of pointy-toed flats embellished with studs and bow details. "There were also slip-on sneakers rendered in bright floral prints, menswear inspired loafers that lent a laid-back twist to the brand's prim-and-proper separates, and for the heel-lovers among us, platform wedges - the perennial Spring picnic shoe of choice."

There are also classic clutches, and square bags with trinkets, as well as crazy bags with a mini merry-go-round, dalmatian puppy, and smiling bee that assure us Kate Spade brand is on top. Kate Spade is one of my favorite designers to look at when it comes to the presentation of the collection because it is always put together so effortlessly.

The tiny details in terms of clothing and accessories includes an abundance of floral, ribbon stripe, and lace that reveals all "the possibilities of Spring". Creative director, Deborah Llyod definitely brought one of the brightest, and most fun collections this season so far! Applause.
