DIY Body Butter

Sure you can purchase a great body butter for a good price, but sometimes it's better to make a "do-it-yourself" version at home. With only three natural ingredients, you know exactly what's inside containing no harsh chemicals that might irritate your skin. 

Combine 2 Cups of Organic Unrefined Coconut Oil, 1 Teaspoon of Vitamin E Oil, and 1 Teaspoon of Almond Oil in a bowl and mix for about 4-6 minutes until you get a thick consistency the way you like it. Add in 10-20 drops of an essence oil (lavender, peppermint, or lemon) if you'd like a more potent scent. Put all of it into a mason jar, and store at room temperature. I recommend you make a new batch every month to make sure it stays fresh.

This body butter will keep your skin extremely hydrated during the colder months. The coconut oil is a natural moisturizer that contains three fatty acids which help kill certain fungal infections. The Almond Oil contains Vitamin E and B essential minerals which help repair sun damage. Lastly, the Vitamin E Oil will boost collagen and cell rejuvenation wile giving extra moisture.
