17 Mile Drive

17 Mile Drive is a scenic road through Pebble Beach and Pacific Grove on the Monterrey Peninsula in California. A couple of years ago I had briefly taken the drive throughout the coast with a few friends but we didn't get to stop at every location to explore.

The road passes through famous golf courses, mansions, and scenic attractions including -- The Lone Cypress, Bird Rock, and the 5,300 acre Del Monte Forest. Non-residents have to pay a $10 toll fee per car to get in, but the awe-inspiring vistas and legendary sites are worth it.

You can easily spend an entire day exploring and discovering some of the most beautiful sites of the Pacific Ocean. After spending some time at Carmel Beach -- Justin, me, and some friends drove through 17 Mile Drive and then drove to Cannery Row for dinner. We ate at Louie Linguini's and had an ocean front view while eating some delicious clam chowder.

It was such a beautiful day... I definitely recommend you drive to see these beautiful views.
